San Jose class action: drivers challenge ~474 Flock ALPR cameras on 4th Amendment grounds

Three San Jose drivers, organised by the Institute for Justice, filed a class action against the city and SJPD over 474 Flock cameras. SJPD’s Flock database was searched 2.5M times in H2 2025 (~13,500/day). City Council recently cut retention from 12 months to 1 month.
